This is without a doubt the BEST Chinese takeaway I have ever been to. We have been coming to Kan’s for two decades - growing up locally, this was my family’s go to takeaway for a Saturday night. I am impressed every single time. The staff are always friendly and attentive, the service is fast and efficient, and the food is authentic, delicious, and of excellent quality. Additionally, the portions are very generous, with each container being full to the top. My personal favourite dishes are the salt and pepper chicken and Singapore vermicelli.

We've been ordering from here for 35 years and the food has always been amazing, never had a bad meal. It's our 'go to' place for Chinese food and regular chippy food. The best Singapore fried rice and Chicken satay. Chips are amazing as is everything else. Service is quick and friendly. Cash only, but for great food, who cares. Love this place.

This is definitely my current favourite Chinese take-away. They don't deliver, so we have only used them during our Dry January, but they are definitely worth missing a Saturday afternoon pint for. (The salt and pepper chips are a thing of beauty.)

WE LOVE KANS! WE LOVE THE SERVICE! WE LOVE THE STAFF! WE LOVE THE LOCATION! After a long hard day practicing our tour routine there’s only one thing we need, half chips half fried rice and curry sauce. We pack up our stuff and skip down to the local Chinese chippy we are served quickly and chow down on our feast! We reccomend kans to anyone. WARNING: U CAN ONLY PAY IN CASH!

Always open. Fast service even when crammed. Gorgeous Chinese and English dishes. Huge portions. Staff may sometimes take money straight after order due to amount of customers in and to maintain organisation, this is not a problem at all. Order has never been made wrong and changes to the order are always taken with a smile.
